Based in Houston, Phoenix Rising Jazz takes jazz music in new directions. "Smooth Jazz" never really defined our sound so we made our own lane. We're a collective of musicians who believe in the eternal appeal of music. Like the mythical phoenix, trends come and go, but real music never dies.
